Dinar & Dirham Quoted In al-Quran & al-Hadith

(Others) said: "Your Lord knows best how long ye have stayed here now send one of you with silver (Dirham) yours to the town: let him find out and choose any type of food better lawful (sold on it), then let him bring you provision from it, and let it be kind gentle earnest (when in town) and do not he do something that causes anyone to be conscious of you. The above verse explains that they asked one of his colleagues to buy food in the city with the money of his. Not paid the amount, but a clear silver (dirhams) .
